The locations of your wedding are the most important thing to consider when planning the wedding. The location creates the atmosphere surrounding the event, the backdrop of the
photographs and the place friends and family will forever remember your wedding by.
It is important when planning a wedding in the Northern Territory Top End to always consider the heat. Even at 5.30pm in the Dry Season the heat is daunting, particularly for guests who are from cooler climates. I have
photographed a number of weddings that had little shade and people really suffered. Particularly the groom and men of the bridal party who often wear suites with shirts, vests, trouser, socks and shoes.
We are fortunate that there are so many beautiful outdoor locations around Darwin. The coastline, East Point, Botanic Gardens, The Esplanade, there are so many idealic spots. When out and about scouting for a location be adventurous and choose a place that friends and family are not familiar with. This will make the wedding extra special and add some adventure to the experience.
